Conde Nast Traveler Mag. July issue 12 Pg. Story On Barbados

Postby vrbllc on Tue Jun 23, 2009 3:11 pm

If you have not read the feature story in Conde Nast Traveler magazine, then go and buy the July, 2009 issue.

This is a 12 page spread on Barbados, with spectacular pictures. I have not read the entire article, but enough to say it appears to be a great piece on Barbados.

The first two pages is a fold out of a large pic of polo activity with the headlines as follows:

This Earth, This Realm, This Little England. Barbados, once the British Empire's most important colony, is still, with its historic riches and great houses galore, a temperamentally English enclave. Some parts of this Caribbean country even look like Devon and Somerset. But, says ISABEL FONSECA, there is definitely another side.

Vrbllc – that was a great article. I took my laptop outside and enjoyed it with a coffee. Not as good as having the magazine in hand, I’m sure, but it was a good read. Thank you.
