We blagged a free dinner by going on a tour of divi, the suites were very nice, but no balcony to speak of, a definite no no. The restaurant was a bit depressing and not very well laid out, however the food was very good, although because we were the only people there they had all the time in the world to make it good. The staff are wonderful and very friendly - even the chef came out for a chat.

Jocelyns beach bar however is not great, food is mediocre although the setting is ok. It seems a bit tired and in need of some tlc. Wouldn't stay there due to lack of balcony to chill out on.

This is my wife's favorite hotel on Barbados. Breakfast is pretty good. We made the mistake of having dinner there one night last year. The food was just not that good. I would have preffered getting something from the street vendors. The booze is high priced compared to other bars. But the staff is very good, except the young woman that works the reception desk in the afternoon on Sat. She just seems to be lost with no clue but I think she's trying her best. I read about her before I experienced her last Nov.

We're in the Main bldg. across the street from the beach. We have a poolside room and requested ground floor for my honey's knees.
