So pleased my suggestion worked for you Rocky.
I had the opportunity to have a tour of Chattel Jentillia by Frankie a few weeks ago and it is somewhere that I would love to stay in the near future.
I am sure you will throughly enjoy staying in that area. The sea is usually very calm for swimming right outside Jentillia but then you also have the beautiful Mullins Beach within a short stroll.
Any more questions about the area ... just fire away. There are alot of people on here to give you good advice and tips.

February eh? By chance your dates wouldn't happen to fall between the 13 and March 2 would they? If so there is going to be quite a contingent of us there then and we would welcome you and your family at a meet up (or two).

Rocky - we had the "Grand Tour" of Chattel Jentillia last week. You won't be disappointed.

The bus stops right in front. $1.50 each and you'll need exact change. We use the buses all the time without a problem. Speightstown is just up the road and great for shopping. Jordon's (the grocery store) will even give you a ride back at no charge. If you have daughters there are a few dress shops that won't break the bank. My daughters love it.

Be sure to try the local food vendors. They sell from the back of their vans/cars or on street corners. $10 BDS will get you a full meal with local dishes - which usually does me for lunch and dinner!

If you would like a personal guide, I'm available - you'd just need to buy my airfare! A bargain.

I think we will stick to the bus for the most part...probably will rent a car for a few days to see other parts of the island. Want to go to the Canada India polo match that I saw on listed on the web. Mostly just hang out at the beach and relax. Glad for the shopping tips - I have 2 girls!!!! Cheers
