I probably have to agree with Shaddow that it's the camera or camera angle, Gem, but you are not the first to notice it on this forum and raise the issue. There is a possibility that there is a problem with that block and other blocks since the project is built on a former mangrove area known for quicksand and other problems associated with building on mangroves. As a matter of fact, it is widely held in Road View/Mullins that the groynes came about because they did not know what to do with all of the extra fill they had to excavate because of the mangrove. This view is bolstered by the original site plan which was posted on the St. Peter's Bay website. There are no groynes on that site plan even though there is the sea wall rock revetment and everything else. The groynes were an addition and obviously not properly thought out and hastily constructed. We are currently paying and will continue to pay the environmental, social and economic price in Road View/Mullins for this monumental blunder as Lesley's photos clearly detail. Not many tears will be shed in Road View/Mullins if in fact that block is leaning and topples over.

Thanks Shadow and Frank for your explanations.

Let's hope nature takes its course and the Mangrove swamp WINS!! Bye bye to Block F and maybe the rest but hopefully before anyone pays a deposit!!
