Volleyball at Brandon's Beach

Postby berthabassett on Sat Oct 31, 2009 11:20 am

Volleyball enthusiasts and beach goers can look forward to a weekend of exciting beach volleyball action as the Sizzlin Sand Beach Volleyball, Caribbean Sunsplash Series 2009 climaxes in Barbados on November 7th and 8th at Brandon’s Beach. The tournament began in Antigua on October 3rd and 4th and saw both the Men’s and Women’s Finals being won by Barbadian teams and so the pressure will be on as they compete in the second event of the series in front of their home crowd. The Caribbean Sunsplash Barbados weekend will offer not only competitive volleyball action but also features live entertainment and pulsating music each night of the tournament. Spectators can look forward to teams from: Antigua, Barbados, Jamaica, St. Kitts, St. Lucia and Trinidad.

Sizzlin Sand organizers have made sure that there will be winners both on and off the court as both competitors and spectators will have the opportunity to win trips from Official Regional Airline sponsor LIAT, THE Caribbean Airline. Outside of the weekend seaside action, visitors to Barbados can enjoy the nightlife, nature and historical attractions and duty free shopping, for your chance to be a part of the action visit liat.com or your local ticketing office to book your flight. Customers at the LIAT regional ticketing offices will have the opportunity to win hotel accommodation in our hotel prize promotion. We will be giving away weekend stays at premium regional hotels, visit us today for more information.

Who said anything about playing? I'd much rather watch. I have a great appreciation for the athletes. 8)

Weisers beach bar at Brandons Beach is good for refreshments and for swimming (just ignore the surrounding scenery opposite)
