This nice looking and reasonably priced one bedroom rental gets very good comments on its listing and that other forum.
Has anyone seen this place or know anything about it beyond what has been said there?

It looks to be right next to Mango Bay...?

What's the neighborhood like? the beach? etc.

Thanks!

They are next to Mango Bay Hotel right by the beach, within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants.
Turfclubgal has one of these condos.

thanks SUE! any comments of what the area is like? busier? how about the character of the beach? does it make a difference being that close to a resort/hotel? (I'll also check with Turfclubgal)

I can highly recommend Turfy's bar when she is in residence!
It is a busy area especially at weekends, it depends on what you are looking for, I don't think that being close to Mango Bay Hotel is a problem.

Thanks for the recommendation SUE.

While we're looking for things to be more quiet than crazy, we don't mind there being some activity along the beach as that makes for fun people watching and more choices for beverages/food. We prefer more of a do-it-ourselves and local flavor than a prepackaged resort hotel offering, but isolation can be boring also. I guess our ideal would be a place to stay that offers privacy (like a quiet balcony overlooking the beach) but in the neighborhood of some fun places to visit, good swimming and snorkeling nearby, and the ability to walk a ways along the beach...
(but isn't that what everyone is looking for??)

I would recommend Palm Beach Condos highly.
I have previously stayed in three of these Condos.
No.8 - which is the first ground floor unit. This one is very close to the street and so suffers slightly from a bit of noise at night time. It does however have a nice bit of the gardens (grassed area) directly outside the back patio.
No.10 is set in the center of the block of condos on the ground floor and has great access for the pool. Brilliant!
No.14 - this one is closest to the beach, ground floor again. You can hear the sound of the waves from this one.
All of them are very nicely furnished. They are located in a great position for everything in Holetown and the beach.
Pat manages most of the condos and looks after things in general. The gardens are lush and the pool is kept spotlessly clean.

Wow, these look a real option actually.

Sorry for a mundane question, but is there car parking there?
