On the southwest coast of Barbados the new Ocean Two condominium hotel is rising over the Caribbean Sea. When complete it will have six floors with a total of 72 one and two bedroom units. This four star property is now selling at pre completion prices starting from £284,000.

It is expected that Ocean Two will open for business in early 2010 and will provide owners with rental returns immediately on their luxurious units. Each individual condo/rental unit will have a full size kitchen, pull out sofa and flat screen TVs with all units having ocean views. There will also be a community swimming pool and individual plunge pools for ground units. Additional amenities will include a poolside restaurant, a beach bar & grill and a full sized gym.

Ocean Two is located on its own private beach called Rainbow Beach, which is being enhanced and extended for residents to enjoy the beautiful blue waters. The property is located in Christ Church Parish on Dover Beach and Saint Lawrence Gap. It is within an easy drive of both Bridgetown and Grantley Adams International Airport.

If Baron Rothschild couldn't buy a "private beach" in Barbados with all of his billions, how the hell will Joe Condo-Shopper do it with 284K?

Exactly. What's this private beach nonsense about? Do any prospective purchasers (lucky dodgers  ) know this can't be right? I suppose it's up to them to do their homework.

I suppose there is no stopping these developers and real estate agents from bending and hiding the truth when the pound and dollar signs floating around in their heads keep them awake all night.

Isn't it just a case of the beach only having access through the new property that makes it "private"?
