Viv I am with you I would be glued to the tv but unfortunately I will be en route to the USA on the morning of the 29th. My family in the States are going to tape it for me so I can watch it that evening.
I don't think any other country can beat us for pomp and ceremony.

I'll give it a quick watch but no more - can't stand all the build up (agree with UKML that it is all a bit much already!!)

BARBADOS WILL BE represented at the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton by both Prime Minister Freundel Stuart and Governor General Sir Clifford Husbands.

Stuart is one of four political leaders of independent Caribbean countries who have been confirmed as attending the wedding in London on Friday. The others are Dr Ralph Gonsalves of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Stephenson King of St Lucia and Hubert Ingraham of The Bahamas. Gonsalves, Ingraham and King are slated to be accompanied by their wives.

I love that last line in the NationNews story today - now I am wondering about our PM's family life.

Will Kate be bold enough to wear white after living in sin for ten years with William :?:  :?:

 Viv

Hopefully I get the party of the Wedding - without having to watch it !
Virgin have planned "parties" on their planes on the day of the wedding - complete with souvenir afternoon tea :? and commemorative Love Hearts !
I would prefer a guarantee that we take off on time and miss it !

If I end up sat in LGW airport watching it I will be gutted !!

The future King of England's wedding and to quite a lovely lady, I wouldn't miss it for the world! Of course, I've got to be up by 4am to watch it. The estimates are that over a billion people will be watching and that's a great event for England. Sue is correct is saying "I don't think any other country can beat us for pomp and ceremony".

I wasn't going to watch but now that the time is nearly here I am quite excited about it. The UK is brilliant at doing the 'Pomp'. And, I can't wait to see the dress.

Only problem is that Mr Ocado is coming between 11 and 12; will have to get Mr B to deal with the groceries. :D

To be honest wasn't bothered about it BUT as it was on...absolutely stunning, nobody does this sort of thing like the English.
