It is with deep regret that we have learned of the passing earlier this week of Pat Bassman. Pat [aka: Bassman or PH Bassman] was a regular Canadian visitor to Barbados who loved the island so much, particularly the south coast, that when this form started nine (9) years ago she was one of the earliest contributors sharing her thoughts and ideas in an effort to help others get to know and enjoy the island more. Her noble legacy is the spirit of community among visitors and locals which she always promoted. She was a blessing to all, and will be sorely missed. Our sincere condolences go out to her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Frank

One of the smartest, kindest ladies I've known, with a wonderful, sharp sense of humour. She never took herself too seriously, was quick to lend a hand when possible, and had no patience for silly people. She will be missed and forever remembered. <3
