'Steamdays' works (only a view of the beach I think?) but 'http://www.royalwestmoreland.com/webcam' doesn't work. I just get the message that I stated above.

I get nothing other than the error message. The site must be down for whatever reason. There have been consistent issues with the cams.

It's working now. Looks as though it was down because they were updating the web page.

I think you are right. When I now launch RWM web cam, it appears as a partial overlay on their web page. They are keeping their name out front when you use their cams. Good marketing on their part.

"The Royal Westmoreland Beach Club is exclusively for Royal Westmoreland members and villa renters to be able to enjoy a day at the beach but not necessarily on the beach. It features reserved car parking, a shuttle from the estate to the beach, a safe swim area, beach shower, private toilet, private deck, complimentary towel, luxury sunbeds with thick blue cushions, umbrellas, and on-beach service for drinks, food and refreshing cold towels."

Sounds like RW is saying here that only their members and guests should be swimming in the roped off area in the water. I swim there all the time and so far no one has told me anything, but it is careless paragraphs like this one on their website and other places that offend many Bajans and cause unnecessary confusion.

As long as it is the law in Barbados that the beaches are all public, they wont stop me smimming by the roped off area by Mullins beach,I often wondered what they would do if I sat down with towels and my own umbrella between the blue sunbeds,Id like to see them try and move me.
