Did you say "house?" Make that "houses" - four (4) to be exact, tiered built one on top of the other. That's the word coming out of Jada this morning. The entire development on the site of the former Sandridge Hotel is to be called The Palazzate (sp). My Italian isn't so good but I believe that roughly translates as Little Palace. Still awaiting confirmation that each "house" or "villa" in the ultra-luxury resort will be 20K sq ft. Btw, if you are in the area, you may want to stop in next door at St. Peter's Bay for a free tour. You get to see their infamous groynes and they give you a nice FREE Rocawear Polo shirt embroidered with their crest and the words St Peter's Bay Barbados.

Finally, we are getting to see what The Palazzate Residences are going to look like. Two huge copies of an artist impression appeared on the construction fence this week. Keep in mind that this is going up next to the St. Peter's Bay Monstrosity on the former Sandridge Hotel site. Sorry about the quality of the photo - it was taken last night with the help of a car's headlights.

It's not too bad Frankie...at least it's an improvement on next door  I dont agree with them building
so high though when it's on the beach. The Seychelles have the best idea...no building higher than a palm
is allowed :D
